sHELLEY BOLTON

Shelley Bolton (Sheebo) is an abstract artist living in Memphis, Tennessee, with her husband, three children and two studio dogs. Originally from Laurel, Mississippi, she has been involved in the visual arts from early childhood.  She attended the University of Mississippi where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in graphic design.

In addition to working in many different mediums, Shelley has spent the last thirteen years in the classroom teaching art to both children and adults and has also presented nationally. She is personally inspired by the organic and simplistic way children create without overthinking.

Influenced by the Cubism style, Shelley creates shapes from lines and patterns and blends them together with a myriad of layered colors. She commissions privately and commercially and has exhibited in both solo and group shows. Her work is currently available at Bingham and Broad in Memphis, Tennessee.
